A Thoughtful Beginning for Your Child

  • {Wisdom Begins in Wonder - Socrates

At True North Early Learning, we believe the earliest years of a child’s life are sacred. These formative years shape habits of mind, character, and curiosity that last a lifetime. Serving infants through Pre-Kindergarten, we provide a nurturing, joyful environment where children are known, loved, and guided toward growth – morally and academically.

Our Philosophy

Formation from the Very Beginning

True North Early Learning is rooted in the conviction that children flourish when they are immersed in a rich, ordered, and loving environment. We honor childhood as a time of wonder, imitation, and discovery, and we believe young children learn best through meaningful content, intentional routines, and attentive care.

Our approach emphasizes:

  • Respect for the dignity of each child
  • Language-rich classrooms that cultivate attention and curiosity
  • Classroom curriculum steeped in tradition, stories, and fables
  • Habits that prepare children for joyful, lifelong learning

Our Programs

Carefully Designed for Each Stage of Early Childhood

Infants

Our infant program provides a calm, secure environment where trust, attachment, and sensory exploration are nurtured. Caregivers attend closely to each child’s needs while supporting early language exposure and responsive interaction.

Toddlers

As children grow in independence, our toddler classrooms introduce gentle structure, purposeful play, and early language development—helping children learn self-control, cooperation, and joy in discovery.

Preschool & Pre-Kindergarten

In our preschool and Pre-K programs, children begin to engage more intentionally with stories, ideas, numbers, and the world around them – building the foundations necessary for a smooth transition into a rigorous elementary education.

Curriculum

A Core Knowledge Aligned – Foundation

True North Early Learning follows a Core Knowledge-aligned curriculum, providing children with a shared foundation of knowledge through rich content in:

  • Language and early literacy
  • Stories, fables, and classic tales
  • Early mathematics and number sense
  • Nature, science, and the natural world
  • Music, art, and cultural traditions

Rather than focusing on isolated skills, our curriculum introduces children to meaningful ideas and vocabulary—forming the intellectual soil in which future learning can take root.

Environment & Care

Order, Beauty, and Belonging

Our classrooms are intentionally designed to be warm, orderly, and inviting—places where children feel secure and inspired. Teachers model attentiveness, kindness, and joyful engagement, helping children develop confidence, self-discipline, and respect for others.

Families are our partners, and we value open communication, trust, and shared responsibility in a child’s growth.
