Cognia is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that accredits schools and school systems. They are a globally recognized authority in education. As a Cognia-accredited institution, True North has made a commitment to providing high-quality education by undergoing a rigorous process of self-assessment and third-party evaluation by Cognia experts. This accreditation certifies that True North has met established standards in areas such as instruction, leadership, resources, and student performance. Initially accredited in 2019, True North received its renewal in 2024 after an extensive renewal process.

National Blue Ribbon School

True North was named a National Blue Ribbon School, one of the highest honors a school can receive from the U.S. Department of Education. The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program recognizes schools that demonstrate overall academic excellence or make exceptional progress in closing achievement gaps among students. Being part of this prestigious group means that True North stands among the best schools in the nation and was only one of 15 schools in Florida that were recognized with this prestigious award in 2024.
