The True North Classical Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We exist to bridge the gap between aspiration and reality. The Foundation plays a vital role in securing philanthropic resources to champion initiatives that enrich students’ lives, uplift educators, and strengthen our communities. In addition to raising financial support for our schools, the Foundation also invests in advancing key initiatives, including:

The Annual Fund is the cornerstone of our school’s sustainability. Public funding alone is not enough to maintain the high standard of education we provide.

We invite families to consider contributing $125 per month or $1,500 per student annually to help bridge this funding gap. While this amount does not fully close the shortfall, it has historically enabled us to maintain balanced operations and continue offering a world-class classical education for every child.

Your contribution, at any level, directly supports the programs, teachers, and resources that make True North extraordinary.

As a public charter school, True North receives significantly less funding than traditional district schools.

All public schools in Florida are supported through the FEFP (Florida Education Finance Program), but unlike district schools, charters do not receive local property tax revenues, funds typically used for facilities, transportation, and improvements.

After accounting for these differences and administrative fees, charter schools operate with only 70–80% of the funding that district schools receive. This creates a gap of approximately $2,000–$3,500 per student each year.

How it works:
