Robert Pondiscio, from the Thomas B. Fordham Institute, visits True North

True North had the privilege of hosting Mr. Robert Pondiscio on a tour of our school. Mr. Pondiscio is a nationally known writer and researcher that is known for his insights into what creates educational excellence. He was deeply impressed with True North curriculum and approach to teaching which focuses on a core knowledge standards and an immersion in history and literature. Mr. Pondiscio will hopefully be a frequent visitor to our school as he continues his research into the best schools in America. “What I saw at True North Robert’s articles and op-ed columns on education have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, the Atlantic, the New York Daily News, Education Next, and many other publications. A frequent speaker and expert guest on education issues, he has appeared on the Fox News Channel, CNN, and elsewhere.
