Who do I reach out to if I need help?

If you need help you can email IThelp@truenorthcharter.org.  Our True North team lead focused on our IT is Jacqueline De Escobar and we have augmented resources form our technology partner DNS who has assigned additional technicians on our account.

 

Computer Hardware needed

  • Wifi Access
  • A device  (computer, laptop, ipad)  with a microphone and video camera
  • Preferred: headphones and microphone

 

Can I get free WIFI?

Yes, Comcast is providing free internet to students.  https://www.internetessentials.com/

 

How does my student login?

Students can start at classroom.google.com or in their email www.gmail.com.  Students log in using their school email and their password. First letter of their first name last name@student.truenorthcharter.org  The only time this configuration is different it is when students have the same first initial and last name. When this happens we use the students full name.

 

Can I use the Google Classroom app versus the web browser? 

Yes, however, we ask that you use  the google chrome browser and log into your email, and then use the quick access to google apps from your email. If you all log in the same way, it is easier for your teachers to help you when you have a question or a problem arises.

 

How do I log on to a school-issued Chrome book?

Use your school email and password
